Last time we learned that according to Neo-Marxists — architects of social justice ideology and critical theory — a positive correlation exists between being oppressed and possessing moral authority. Neo-Marxists also tell us that those in positions of power consistently exercise their authority in ways that serve only themselves and that manipulate others. Whatever those in authority do is evil, they claim. Good, of course, is as whatever those deemed to be oppressed do. Thus, according to critical theory, those deemed oppressed are always right!

It also explains why, in the wake of the violent protests and riots of 2020, not one House Democrat supported a resolution from Representative Greg Steube that, among other things, (1) called for justice for George Floyd; (2) called for justice for officers and others who suffered from violence at the hands of extremists [43 officers already had been killed], and (3) strongly condemned the violence, riots, and looting in the United States.
