Bringing the session into focus: One’s view of humanity will profoundly shape that person’s recommendations for solving the world’s problems. This is true of movements as well as people. A “gospel” that incorrectly diagnoses core problems will offer “solutions” that only will make matters worse; it can’t offer a real remedy to address the world’s ills. Does the social justice movement have an accurate assessment of humanity — or does Scripture? Examinations of both gospels and of the observable realities we encounter in our everyday lives answer this question adequately and satisfactorily. The answers are clear. The truth is available to all who are willing to see it.
